Hi i was wondering if any one has a fix for my problem. the over all performance of my computer while gaming has been low. For example when it should be getting 60 fps on most games but I get around 40 to 50 and sometimes 30. if you need any more information I can post it below.
My specs are:
Graphics Chipset:AMD Radeon R9 390 Series

CPU Type:AMD A10-7850K Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G

Mother Board:A88X-G45 Gaming(ms-7900)

Power supply:Ultra 850w ATX power supply

Hard drive: 2 1TB hard drives

Thank you for you answer do you have any suggestions on what proessor i should get? if you do could you tell me an intel processor that would work well?

Well my graphics card is a GeForce 960GTX which has similar specs to the R9 390 and I have an AMD fx-6350 which is also similar to the A10. I don't get bottlenecking. I would recommend the fx-8350 which is better than mine but would be good with your graphics card. Can someone please clarify my answer?

I was kind of aiming to move away from amd and to intel. do you think that the Intel Core I5-6600K would be a good choice for intel?

Yes, looking at benchmarks the i5you suggested is good. The fx 8350 has twice as many cores and 500Mhz faster but overall the i5 performs better I think. However, it is more expensive. The i5 is £185 and the AMD is £135
