Low CPU Fan Speed

I just installed my new Swiftech H220 on my Asus Z87-A board with a i7-4770k in it. But when i got into my BIOS to set up my system, all the fans were about 1800 RPM Except the CPU fan, it was barely at 600, and i plugged the 4-pin connector that was attached to the coolerhead in the CPU Optional spot. And that reads 1800 rpm, i don't know how, and i don't know how to kick up the RPM on my CPU fans.
The CPu temp is 34C on idle.

You don't have to do anything, thing are just fine. Temps are just Ok. Try SpeedFan to check the temps and fan speed of CPU when under load, you will find that the fan will spinning with higher RPM. Nothing to worry about.

Okay, but when i boot my pc, i get to the American Megatrends screen, and on the bottom it says "CPU FAN error, press F1 for Setup"

This is regatdless of me having it plugged into a chassis connector or my CPU FAN connector.
- Any idea what mighr be wrong? If anything is actually wrong.

In BIOS there is an option asking whether or not to alert you if the fan is running slow. Since you are not using the stock cooler, BIOS thinks your fan is running too slow. If you are sure your fan is fine, disable this feature. You'll have to look through Bios for that option, won't take long.

I have a kind or similar problem; bought new bequiet! Dark rock advanced c1 cooler to cool an core i5-4440cpu attached to asus b85 pro gamer motherboard. It goes to thqt same american megatrends cpu fan error f1 to setup screen. Bios is set to warn if rpm less than 600, which has been set in factory. Cpu temperature is 25-28 Celcius when in ez bios screen and fan rpm 285-310. Is it ok to lower the warning rpm or have i to do something else?

Your MB has two PWM controlled CPU headers and three voltage controlled chassis headers. According to the manual, all of these headers can be configured in the Fan Xpert2 software that can be downloaded from ASUS for your MB. You can set the fans connected to each header to be a fixed speed or a variable speed with a curve that increases fan speed as temps (usually CPU socket temp) go up.

The default setting for ASUS boards appears to be variable temperature controlled speed for the CPU, usually a profile that will make the fans run quite slowly at low temps, although you can adjust that by selecting a different profile (Silent, Standard, Turbo, Full Speed) or by setting your own speed profile. For example, I have a custom profile for an AMD processor that runs the cooler fans at 10% speed when the CPU is at 20C and 100% speed when the CPU hits 50C.
