Low disk space on C drive but nothing big is installed on it.

Hello, today I just noticed that the disk space bar of the drive C shows that I have around 25 GB of free space out of 122 GB. But, I don't really have anything important installed on the main C drive!! All my apps are installed on D, E or F. I run temp, %temp% and prefetch and remove unnecessary data regularly. Please help me finding out the hidden junks that are eating up my disk space and slowing down my PC. Thank you!!!!!

Install and run WinDirStat
Run as Administrator, selecting only that C drive.

If you have 25GB free, then your disk is not being slowed down just because it is full, this is a common myth, were it to get to <5GB then maybe you'd have a problem with speed when writing. However, as above, windirstat will show you what's being used where.

Restore Points (if System Restore is enabled for drive C)? They can occupy a fair amount of space.
So can backups of Windows Updates.
