Low download speeds but high upload speeds?

I recently made the switch to fibre internet, as low speeds with many devices was becoming unbearable. Since that though, my internet speed have gotten significantly worse. While I used to have a download of ~15mbs and an upload of ~1mbs, I now have a download of 6mbs and an upload of 14mbs. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I could fix it?

restart your router. if that doesn't work reset the router to its default settings. if that doesn't work contact your isp.
