This is happening to me in first person and third person games such as rocket league, dark souls, and dead by daylight and it's really bugging me. I don't know if it's a LOD problem or a draw distance problem, but what happens is if I'm a certain distance away from a house, it may not display windows or a chimney perhaps, until I come closer to it. If I'm moving towards this house for the first time the features that appear on it will be blurry for about 3 seconds, which really turns me off. I thought it might be the game settings but I always have them on max, and whenever I see gameplay videos in these games, the player has no such issues. Another issue that I think comes with this is that textures don't seem to look that good, even at high.

1) that's an odd resolution, make sure the games are actually set to output to that res and not something else being squashed. Could be the. Blurry issue.

2) stuff taking ages to load sounds like a buffer issue. Make sure gpu vram is at correct clocks.

3) make sure the games are at sufficient levels of settings.

pretty sure the games are set properly for that resolution but ill double check. how may i ask do i check for correct vram clocks

install something like MSI afterburner. Have it running while you play, and the graphs will show you memory clocks, core clocks etc. You don't have to mess with any of the overclock settings.

Also check nothing is hogging all your RAM - if textures are having to be pulled from disk this can also cause the problem ,although less likely.

Alright. I'll play one game of dead by daylight now with msi afterburner and send you a screenshot. Also, I did change my settings to this like an hour ago: http://imgur.com/vC9q5lP just so you know for whatever reason

Edit: okay here's a screenshot.

yeah so the mem speeds look good, as does core clock.

Does the issue still occur? Dead by daylight is, I think, an early access-type thing? I don't play them, but the few I have tried have generally been pretty poorly coded so things like texture pop, missing textures, frame issues are very common.

yep it does still occur. yeah you're right, stuff like that is probably gonna happen in early-access games, but when the issue still stands in games like dark souls 3, I think it would be on my side

no i dont have those games :/ hm... this is a long shot but is having a 1x8gb stick of ram instead of 2x4 have some effect?

welp, well thanks for trying to help

Hey is it possible my CPU could be causing the issue?

No

I have this issue too, the last time with my other pc , i think its video driver / windows 10 install/ last update , because i dont see this on my new pc, but the last 2 weeks i see this problem again , i change my entire pc and the problem continued , also testing on win 7 / win10 , with other HDD , diferents psus , pc1 (i5 2320+8gb+7970/960+ssd+hdd500gb) , pc2(ryzen 1600+16gb+rx580+same ssd of pc 1 and other hdd of 2tb) so on this point its the windows 10 install or the ssd .

Has anyone tried swapping out their MOBO and/or CPU and posted results? I know this is much more work, but with the numerous threads online...I have seen people try everything from swapping GPUs, RAM, swapping drives (HDD to SDD vice versa), reinstalling a variety of drivers, reinstalling games, windows and numerous other things with no luck. The main items I have not seen tested with results is swapping out of CPUs and/or MOBO.

I figured it out! and solved the issue but there are so many ppl having the same problem that i should consider charging for the fix lol.
Basically you've all been hacked by a cryptominer who is somehow utilising certain API's in your gpu and they're pretty hard to get rid of and the fix also involves re-installing windows and blocking the hacker from having secret access to your MS account.
If anyone needs more details pm me (dl and attempt to run GPU caps viewer, if it fails or is missing any API then you've been hacked!)

So is this guy legit or what? ^

Cus i'm still suffering from this issue in all fucking games.

Even in Rocket League the game can't have PROPER AA on all textures at ALL distances, it looks shit at a distance, perfect withing 5m distance.

i7-7700k and gtx 1080ti btw.
