low end gaming

hi people would a E8500 GT9600 (1gb GT) and 5gb ram (ddr2) do me good on low/med settings CSGO? 720p/600p im on a super tight budget and a couple friends recommended this cpu to me (i already got the GPU) thanks in advance

That is a pretty slow system, along with RAM that is not running in dual channel mode properly, it should run CSGO on low settings at those resolutions though. Can't tell you how smoothly but there are some video around you can check if you do a search.
