Low end GPU over clock

I am looking into over-clocking my gpu which i believe might not be good for my wimpy 2gb R7 260x. I want to over clock my GPU but the R7 260x is not the best card on the market to over clock. Is it safe to over clock a card thats not really meant to over clocked? Also will over clocking cause this GPU to poop out and die sooner then it should? Is it a decent Card?

all GPU's can overclock, as long as you have good cooling then your fine.

install MSI afterburner and up your gpu then your memory in 10mhz increments.

overclocking will make the gpu die out sooner, but were talking 15 years still. Unless you put a 50% overclock on the GPU.
