Low end vr with fx 6300 and gtx 960 2gb

Basically what the title says, do you guys think that playing vr with the acer windows mixed reality headset would be possible with an amd fx 6300 if I overclocked it to something like 4.4 and ran it with a gtx 960 2gb? I don't plan on playing any super intensive vr games, just things like Pavlov VR and The Forest vr. I have heard that the "minimum" requirements set by most sites are higher than what is needed, so I'd like to know what you guys have experienced. Thanks!
