Hi everyone,
i got a second hand Gigabyte GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC 11G and the fps are pretty low compared to other 1080 ti that i saw on youtube, games like bf1, ACO, Far Cry 5 etc...
is it possible that the card is not functioning well? or maybe because i have only 8gbs of ddr4 Ram?

My Rig:
Asus ROG STRIX Z370-H
I5 8600k OC 1.2v 4.8ghz
8gb 2400mhz RAM
Gigabyte gaming oc 11g 1080 ti
Thermaltake 730W 80 plus Bronze
1080p monitor( waiting for the 4k)

I run Unigen Superposition and here are my results:
720p LOW Score 24681
1080p Extreme Score 6114
4k Optimized Score 9666

Thanks!

thanks for answering, so the Gpu is functioning normally? i guess the problem is the low RAM

Maybe it's RAM. Most go for a minimum of 16GB in a high end gaming PC, however it's not often that you'll use more than 8 though. The 1080Ti is a powerful GPU, maybe your CPU is the limiting factor in those games.....I know the 8600k is almost as good at the i7-8700k for gaming, even so I still think the CPU performance may be impacting on the frame rate.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5J3vvehSsk Benchmark Far Cry 5 at 1:35 you can see he gets AVG 132 and MAX 144 while i got AVG 99 and MAX 123, he used more than 8gb of RAM so maybe it is RAM?

Your GPU appears to be performing very well judging by the test, so there's no problem there. I'd say that it's most likely your RAM bottle-necking slightly. If it's possible I suggest investing in another 8GB of ram as it would definitely be worth your while. I'm happy to help if you have any other questions.
