I recently bought some new computer parts for my pc and everything was working fine until I installed a new Seagate SSHD 1TB. I used to get great frame rate on all my games but once I installed the SSHD and downloaded my games on to it, every game I play gets bad FPS. On CS GO I used to get 200-300 FPS on max settings and now I get 30-50 on lowest settings and its like this for all of my games now. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my games and verifying the files and nothing has worked. I have a GTX 960 4GB, 16GB of ram and an AMD FX 8350 4Ghz. Someone please help.

Hey there OceanMan.

So everything worked fine with the high FPS numbers with all other components until you've installed the new SSHD? If this is the case, you should make sure that you have properly seated the cables of the drive to the PSU, the motherboard and the SSHD itself. Other than that you could give it a try with different cables and a different SATA port, to see if the same thing happens. If you have important data on it - back it up and download the drive manufacturer's diagnostic tool to test the drive for errors and bad sectors and see if anything out of the ordinary pops-up. You should also check the SSHD manufacturer's website for available firmware updates for your drive model.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how...
