Hi.
I have this problem now 3 days and cant figure it out.
When i reboot my computer or if it goes to sleep my FPS in games will go down to around 12-20 FPS (Otherwise 100+)
Only solution is for me to do a clean reinstall of my Nvidia drivers. But if i turn off my computer or it goes to sleep the problem is back and i have to do the prosedure again.
I use DDU before installing the Drivers. I also updated my Bios but it didnt fix the problem.

CPU: AMD 7800x3d
GPU: ASUS Strix 3080
Motherboard: Asus x670 gaming-F
Ram Hyperx Fury 6000Mhz 32

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age(if it's been in service for a while). BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time? When using DDU, remove all GPU drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia), then manually install the latest driver in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Did you clear the CMOS after you'd verified that the BIOS was successfully flashed?

Psu is an Phanteks revolt 850W its about 1 year old. The thing is it worked fine until now. I hade 100 fps + in world of warcraft now I have 14 fps. In Alan wake 2 i had around 65 fps now its between 8-12 fps. But if I reinstall the drivers the fps is back and i can play entire day until I turn off my computer or if it goes to sleep. The problem is back. No i did not reset the cmos can i do that now? I have a cmos button on my motherboard or should i do it from bios?

Were you ever able to find a solution to this? I'm actually experiencing the exact same thing if not very similar to you.

Changing the drivers seems to help but as soon as I reboot or go to sleep the fps just plummets in games.

I recently upgraded from a 1080 to a 3080 and I haven't had any issues until recently.

My specs are:

CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K
GPU: MSI Geforce RTX 3080 Gaming Trio Plus 12G
Mobo: MSI Z390M Gaming Edge AC
RAM: DDR4 3200mhz 32GB
PSU: Corsair 850W
Windows 10

Okay so after updating my bios it actually seems to have been fixed. I'll update again if it turns out not to be the solution.
