Low FPS after upgrading GPU

hello guys. I just bought new gpu nvidia evga gtx 770 2gb it gave me + lots of fps in many games but in some of them i still have same fps that i used to have with old gt 630 2gb. like on csgo i had 90-120 fps now i have 90-140 ghost in the shield 50-60 fps now 70-80 , in some open world games i had 40-50 fps i got minimum 120fps but not on ultra settings ofc medium and low. my pc specs: Cpu i5-2400 3.1ghz graphics card gtx 770 2gb ram 4gb ddr3 1600mhz.

4gb of ram is the bare minimum, 8gb total would help



at super low resolutions and settings the cpu is what determines max fps


getting a better card will add almost nothing in those situations

then raise the settings to max and note fps again


if fps do not change you are cpu limited
