so i can play all my games maxed out at 60FPS (except GTA V) but its kinda hard to explain my problem, Sometimes when i hop on my FPS will be unstable and will drop into the single digits at times but if i restart my PC the problem fixes itself and i have this problem with all my games.
Thanks.

SPECS
G3258 4.2gHz
GTX 960 2GB 1442mHz'
8GB RAM 4GBx2
Windows 8.1 Home

What are your temps?

CPU max 70C
GPU max 65C

Well seems very strange. Is your card sagging at all?

didn't mean to hit solve i hate when i do that, and no its not sagging it straight up

Whats your motherboard?

ASRock H97M Anniversary

Well I'd say a problem between the Pentium and the GPU but that doesnt really seem likely as that particular Pentium is an amazing processor, So I'm not sure what's going on sadly :/ Have you tried reinstalling your games?

No i haven't reinstalled my games and my PSU is a Corsair CX430 and my GPU has a 90mHz boost on the core and 110mHz boost on the memory, and this is off subject but my G3258 never bottlenecks my GPU, even in BF4 and i play it fully ultra lol

like ive been playing BO2 all morning ant the FPS NEVER dropped below 60, and that fully maxed out 1080p with 8xMSAA. and if i switch VSync off the FPS goes into the 150-200 range

if the dual core was the problem, it would do it all the time, not just when every it feels like it

Could you go to your event manager and tell me of any events in the event manager during the time the FPS drops happen?

2 things, how do i get to the event manager and you might be a while before i get another FPS drop episode BUT I NOTICED SOMETHING! it USUALLY drops when my PC has been on for a long time, usually overnight.

Which OS are you running? And to get to event manager (on windows 8.1 and windows 10) you right click on start button and click event manager
