Cpu: Amd threadripper 2920x
Gpu: Amd r9 fury
Ram: 16gb ddr4 4000mhz
SSD
all game settings on low. All driver, bios and firmware up to date. Good cooling
I have checked many guides for csgo i have tried all the launch options without the success of achieving stable fps over 240. Any help would be very much appreciated Thx

I am not sure to honest. If any thing is unbalanced I would assume you would be referring to the Gpu. If you could enlighten me some more of what you mean that would be great. Please forgive me ahead of time because this is only my second computer build, with that said I did not use any guide for the build. My best guess to what could be the problem is the Gpu but by no means am I a guru. I would like to have more information if any of what could be the problem. I know the Gpu is clocked at max 1050Mhz. like I said my best guess is the Gpu but I would imagine that it should be able to run a simple game like csgo at 500 or more stable fps. Hell I cant get a stable 240 fps to be effective. It will run at best 150 then have massive drops. I have googled for hours, tried just about everything without any success.

How much did you play for your GPU because just looking it looks hugly overpriced for what your getting?

What is your average FPS?

While there's nothing I can see wrong with your build I think your "issue" is the CPU as Threadripper isn't really made for gaming and a game such as CSGO isn't able to fully utilize all the cores/threads effectively as lets say, a 9600K which has better performance per core.

My average fps when I do a benchmark is around 240 fps. I guess its back to a new build. i paid around 700$. I guess i will do more research next time. I only read two reviews saying it was great for streaming and gaming but I guess that is not the case...
