Low fps in CSGO

I play csgo a lot and i think i have too low fps for my system specs.

Specs :
Ryzen 5 1600 3,8ghz
Gigabyte gtx 1070 Mini
Asrock B450m steel legend
Seasonic focus 550watt
2x8gb ram 2400mhz g.skill aegis
1x 128 Sata m.2 ssd
1x 1tb toshiba 7200rpm hdd
1x gigabyte ssd 240gb

My gpu is around 65 °C under load
And my cpu is 63 °C under full load

When i do the csgo benchmark test i end up with around 220fps

I think that is wayyy to low for my specs.

My game settings are on high with the resolution set to 1280x960

Any ideas to whats causing this?

I don’t know but the first thing that jumps out is your relatively slow RAM. Ryzen cpu performance is materially impacted by RAM speed and cs go is a cpu dependent game.

I had the same issue, csgo was having really bad performance 90-120fps with Ryzen 5 1600 and gtx 1060 at 1080p and not only the fps was low but the game itself was not smooth (did not have any problem with other games). After that i did many changes with my pc went from 2400mhz ram to 3200mhz (yea nothing changed) upgraded to 1070ti changed the monitor from 1080p to 1440p and finally upgraded to 2080. Even with all these changes csgo keeps running at about 100fps with everything low and not being smooth. My ryzen 1600 was also overclocked at 3.8Ghz and i tried many fixes i found on the internet too. Finally now that i upgraded to Ryzen 7 3700X the performance is back and the game runs at 250-300fps and feels really smooth. I changed nothing in the game or in windows just swaped the cpu. Its true that this game is really cpu demanding and at this low resolution you are playing probably the cpu is your problem.

Newer Windows 10 updates as well as the newest driver from Nvidia has impacted performance on games such as CSGO. Not much you can do other then wait for a fix from Nvidia.

The slower memory could have an impact with Ryzen. While I don't play CSGO the difference between 2133 & 3200 on Destiny 2 was 25 FPS.
