Low FPS despite high end PC

I upgraded my PC a while back and I've noticed that I still cant run games that well. From games like Starbound, all the way up to Shadow of War and Battlefield 1, I struggle to maintain a decent framerate even on medium settings; I've attached a some pictures in hopes that you guys might have suggestions as to why my PC is stuggling. If you need more information, hit me up.

  Monitor is plugged into graphics card
  Temperatures average around 60-70 in-game

New link works! Mhh you are right, a 1080 should be able to run these game with more than 60 FPS at a 1080p resoution. VSYNC/GYSNC and other framerate limiters are disabled i guess?

Could you try out an "allround" benchmark tool like UserBenchmark? This allows you to compare your benchmark results to users with similar/the same hardware.

is the new mb bios up to date to rule out a bios bug and did you do a clean install of windows 10.

Could you try out an "allround" benchmark tool like UserBenchmark? This allows you to compare your benchmark results to users with similar/the same hardware.

Update your BIOS... If you dont know how to do it please google or watch videos on youtube, cause you will never want to mess with BIOS... then try updating your graphics card driver...As i can see you have all high end components, you shouldn't face such problems. If still it doesnt work, Reinstall fresh windows on your machine!

Never saw an outdated BIOS causing low FPS to be honest. The only thing on hardware-side I can think of is a wrong PCI-lane configuration. No need to update the BIOS tho ... and a clean Windows installation should be the last thing to try.

I resorted to doing a fresh install of windows, but a new problem has risen. When I got my parts, I was given 2 discs that would install the drivers I need on my computer, an ASRock driver dvd and a AORUS Graphics and driver utility disk. The latter also installs the Nvidia drivers and such but whenever I try install those, my pc crashes. I didn't have this problem when I first got the parts and upgraded my pc, so I'm really worried that I've done something wrong and buggered my PC; It's 4am for me so I'm gonna sleep this off, hopefully you can help me out.

with a fresh install of windows...start with the chipset drivers. look at the mb vendor see how old they are. with intel mb google intel chipset drivers do get the newest driver. amd do to there web page download the driver for your mb. after you install the chipset drivers go to nvidia web page for the newest drivers there.
