Hi guys, I'm having a weird problem in my laptop. Sometimes, all of a sudden, I get low fps in all games. (for example, down to 10fps when I normally get 40). When it happens I noticed that the game cannot fully use CPU/GPU, instead they don't go beyond 40-50%.

I've found out that this usually gets fixed after running chkdsk /r /f . The problem is that I get this issue often. I repair the disk, and then, next day or after some time, I start experiencing the same poor performance issue again.

Any reason for keeping getting these disk errors after a while? I already tested the disk health with the MyAsus app and it didn't find any problem. Plus, it's a new SSD (and I think this problem was partially present before I upgraded from the factory HDD).

Sorry for the delay, apparently didn't get the notification.

The laptop is a Asus S15 S530FN. The SSD is a Crucial MX500, 500GB SATA.

Although I'm not sure about this, I think there were also disk errors with the HDD that was originally installed.
