Low FPS for a 1060 + Frame drops/stuttering has been occurring on my PC since I can remember. Switched from a 750 to 1060 and there is the same issue. I have provided a video recording some benchmarks below. Thank you for your time. :) It is very much appreciated, even if you don't have answers.

I don't believe your OS has anything to do with it since Fortnite supports old OS such as 7.

Okay, very interesting, did you watch the vid? Thank you for answering as well. Do you see anything going wrong with the CPU or anything else? I also do not know why the GPU usage is low. Is this because of the PSU? Thanks again.
It might be important to add I am using WINDOWS 7

I'm not sure if something is wrong with the CPU but judging by the fluctuation in usage on multiple CPU cores reaching over 90%+ usage this tells me that your CPU is bottle-necking your GPU. That is to be expected since you are using a CPU over 5 yrs old. Even Intel's previous generations Sky Lake / Kaby Lake has some minor bottlenecks with the new Pascal GPU architecture. If you want to get the full potential of your GPU, a more updated CPU/Mobo is advised.

Thank you both for replying. If I was to get a Ryzen 5 1060 and a 500w PSU, do you think that would work? :)
Or should the Ryzen 5 1060 and Gtx 1060 combo have higher than 500w?

So should I record my benchmarks again with only the Power information so you two can decide if it is the PSU?
(I plan on the CPU upgrade)

Here is a good wattage calculator that you can try with your system
http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/

GTX 1060 requires a minimum 400w and that accounts a full running system but that is just the bare minimum requirements. You would want a power supply that exceeds that requirement by at least 100w. The price difference is not that huge so you might even be able to get a power supply that is 600w for the price of the 500w etc.

Note: Depending on what PSU you use also matters. Better brand PSU like Corsair/Seasonic will more than likely output their advertised wattage unlike other cheaper brands.

Ryzen 5 will run perfect with the 1060.

Keep in mind that by upgrading to Ryzen also means you need to upgrade your motherboard B450/X470 if you are using the 2nd gen Ryzen or B350/X370 if 1st gen Ryzen. This also means that you need to upgrade your ram to DDR4 Memory.

Thanks so much dude, very appreciated. I was NOT aware of the motherboard and memory switch at all dude, that sucks. could you point me to a budget site so I can find the memory and motherboard. If not, do you have recommendations eh? Will this work?
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AB350M-DS3H (AMD Ryzen AM4/B350/4x DDR4/HDMI/M.2/SATA/USB 3.1 Gen 1//RGB Fusion/Micro ATX/Motherboard)

If budget is tight you could also opt to just use Ryzen 3 2200G and it should work just fine without bottleneck. You could also run 8GB ram temporarily and get another 8GB later on. Ryzen performance relies a lot on memory ram and speed so you should invest in that.
