Hi All,
I just upgraded to a 1440p 144hz monitor from a 60hz, and when I went to crank the frames to 144 I found my games only get 55-70 FPS on highest settings. I think my i7-6700 + 1080ti should be able to handle this. Games like Destiny 2, Hellblade, Shadow of Mordor all get the same 55-70 range (though occasionally peak to 144 for a few seconds).
Drivers are up to date, temperature is fine, settings are all at 1440p, I saw the same 55-70 performance in 3DMark benchmarking and Unigine benchmarking. I'm not an expert but everything looks reasonable in MSI Afterburner.
