Low FPS GTX 680

Hey Folks, I just upgraded mu GPU from a GTX 560 and I'm a little sad because there is no improvement. In fact there is actually a slight degradation.

I am only getting about 28 average FPS in some of the games I play like Tera, Hawken, Planet Side 2 and Mech Warrior online.

I'm running the latest drivers from Nvidia's site. I thought I had a halfway decent build but I'm not sure what is going on. Any help is appreciated.

I would say that your Athlon II X4 is the bottle neck. It can't keep up with the card.

Its your processor. You should have saved your money and not upgraded. Or maybe should have gotten a gtx 670 and a new processor

Its your processor that's holding your card back. You should have upgraded that along with your GPU.

Clearly it's your athlon CPU that's bottlenecking the card.

I agree with what was mentioned above (regarding saving your money and not upgrading until you could've upgraded your motherboard, CPU and GPU...basically build from ground up. Or find a better CPU that your MOBO supports.
