Low Fps!?! Help!

Hey guys, I was playing league of legends and I normally ger anywhere from 80-130+ fps on max settings. I loaded into a game and fps was good, but about half way through it changed and my fps was 50 and even lower!! What is the problem? My drivers are all updated. I really need help! I am using the sapphire 7770ghz oc edition.

Get HWmonitor or something else to read system temperatures. A sudden drop in framerate like that while in a game sounds like either the CPU or GPU is getting too hot and throttling way back in order to protect itself.

I have amd overdrive and it was fine, also i just played another match and my fps was ok again
what could have caused this sudden drop?
