Hi everyone. Ive been experiencing low fps in CSGO getting around 120-200, struggling to keep above 200fps. I have no idea why this is happening, ive set my GPU power management mode to max and no difference.

My Rig:
i7 7700k
16gb ram 2133
msi gtx 1070 gaming 8g
asus strix z270f gaming

Solution
hmm. Maybe the settings in CSGO have automatically defaulted to enable some settings that make the game harder to run, or the game has simply put on an fps cap.

Have this been persistent with this hardware, or has it just started to occur now. And if it has just started, what fps count were you getting before this started happening.

Just started recently, I used to be running CSGO max at 250 stable but it's just gone for some reason

Is anything thermal throttling or under-clocked by default? And is the memory possibly effecting the performance of your system?
Thermal are fine, about 27-30 idle and max mid 60s under load, I did recently install a new nzxt x52 all and I've just enabled xmp in bios see if that does anything

Ive seemed to solved this problem. It turns out NZXT cam in game FPS tracker/overlay lowers your FPS, i disabled it and used msi afterburner monitor and getting my 250-300 fps. Cheers for the help though i do appreciate it (y)
