Low FPS in CSGO w/ 1060 6GB

low fps between 120-140 in csgo on low settings, planning on getting a new monitor 144 hz monitor and on new games like rocket league i get 250 max settings and nba 2k16 max settings 140 fps

specs
i5-6500 3.2ghz
gigabyte gtx 1060 6gb
16gb of ram
1920x1080

-tried uninstalling drivers and reinstalling
-setting to max performance
-fps max 0 v sync off
any help would be appreciated

found the problem i had multicore rendering disabled in csgo video options

I have the same issue and I have multicore rendering enabled, even then I get low fps of around 80-140 fps. I'm damn tired of this, Did you find anything else apart from these which would help?
