Solution
I believe you have low FPS for a combination of reasons. One is your CPU. As this link says, DayZ has always been a very CPU heavy game. All of the zombies have to be processed by your system, not only the server. Obviously with all the zombies, thats a lot of NPCs that your CPU needs to handle. This is not to say that your CPU is not strong, the AMD 8350 is a perfectly fine processor for most things, but for a lot of games, it lags behind its peers. This only becomes a major problem in very CPU heavy games, as DayZ is. http://www.anandtech.com/show/6396/the-vishera-review-amd-fx8350-fx8320-fx6300-and-fx4300-tested/5 . Your GPU might also be a little less than what is needed to run this game. It depends a lot on what resolution you play...

Your GPU might also be a little less than what is needed to run this game. It depends a lot on what resolution you play at, but even for anything in the HD range, your GPU would probably have some difficulties with such an intensive game. Here is a link to explore your GPU's performance- http://www.anandtech.com/show/6359/the-nvidia-geforce-gtx-650-ti-review/15 . As you can see, by clicking on other games also, your GPU is quite a bit behind the GTX 660, and I would expect the GTX 660 to play DayZ at 1080p at maybe medium-ish. This is not to pin all the blame on your system. DayZ is most likely poorly optimized in comparison to many of todays titles. Just look to the stress that it puts on each individual system's CPU for NPCs. If you want to see your FPS in this and other games, us FRAPS - http://www.fraps.com/download.php . It is able to show FPS in the corner of your screen while you play. You say it is jumping around. I suspect that it may not be entirely due to low FPS. It may just be network lag. DayZ is a game I would expect to have more lag than others, but coupled with the act that the standalone has only just been released, I would not be surprised if even someone on a much stronger system also lagged. I think the last two reasons for the lag may be more likely because your system should not be having too many problems running any game at at least low settings.
