Hello, everyone. As you can see from the screenshot below, I am getting very low FPS in PUBG for what I would expect with my setup. I recently upgrade the CPU and GPU because I was getting bad performance in the game a couple of months ago (Thread here: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/pubg-fps-w-rx-580.3794522/). Surprisingly, I am still getting consistently below 100 FPS with everything at 1080p low. It's also worth mentioning that, while in a game, my GPU utilization never goes above 70%. However, when I'm in the game lobby, it shoots up to 100%. I really have no idea what I'm supposed to do at this point, so I'm hoping to uncover the mystery with your assistance. Thank you in advance.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

How old is the PSU at this point?

Try and use DDU to remove all GPU drivers from your platform, then manually reinstall with the latest drivers from Intel's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

The PSU was purchased in August of 2018. My motherboard is on the latest BIOS, version 5.70. I used DDU when I moved from the RX 580 to the Arc A750 in February; however, I can attempt to run it again.

My 3DMark TimeSpy results: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/37573574

I was #47 compared to other users with my CPU and GPU. Looking at some of the top guys, they all seem to have a B550 and faster and/or more RAM. Not sure if that’s the issue (can the motherboard be a hindrance?). In any case, that’s pre-DDU. I just finished running DDU and re-installing latest drivers. We’ll see if there’s any difference. I’m also thinking of buying 3DMark to get access to the DX11 tests, since that’s what PUBG runs on. Admittedly, I’m still learning how to use these benchmark tools effectively, but I want a way to pinpoint any performance issues.

After DDU: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/37585360

Slightly worse
