Low fps in skyrim, decent computer...

Specs...

i7 3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
10 gigs ram
Windows 8
Nvidia Geforce GT 630 w/ 4gig vram

Been getting only ~17 fps in skyrim, which is atrocious given the fact that my old computer got twice that much with nowhere near the specs my new computer has.

Please help

GT630 imo. it's not a gamin' card it's actually pretty crap.

I bet you're Old Computer had a better GPU.

What settings are you trying to run the game on? gt 630 is a very weak card.

depending on the budget

right now for the money a 7850 2gb is probably the best buy, I also have this card and love it and this is along side a far weaker CPU than your.
