Hi guys, I'm in need of some help with finding out why I'm struggling with low fps while gaming.
Brought a brand new computer that appealed to me within my budget. I wasn't looking for the best possible PC but something that would be able to run games smoothly.
CS:GO I average 40-50 fps on full low settings
LoL I average 80 fps on full low settings
WoW I average 70 fps in starter zone on full low settings
I was hoping for a stable 125 fps gaming life but not getting that, it could be that i brought a terrible PC and should of done more research or that something isn't actually right. But that's why I've come here for help. The one thing I think it could be is the on board graphics? Any help is much appreciated.

AMD A8-7650K Radeon R7,

What resolution are you using?

I'm afraid the problem may be with your expectations. The A8 does have a fairly strong integrated graphics, but it's not meant to be great at 1080p. The results you are experiencing sounds about right where I think they should be.

What RAM are you using? FOr best results, you need to be using high speed memory in dual channel. For example, a 2x4GB 2133mhz ddr3 kit.

Thanks for replies.
I'm running on 1920x1080 resolution, so if the fps output is about right for the current setup what would be an improvement to it?
My RAM is a single Crucial 8 GB DDR3, so your saying I should purchase the same ram stick and have 2?

My PSU is FSP350-60HHN (85)

Noticeable as in? Extra 10fps or what? Why 2133 and not a 1600mhz?
Would my screen resolution play a part in the low fps, Should I lower it down to 720

Shared graphics AMD radeon HD is the issue. The integrated GFX processing unit is not meant for serious games. Sure, it can play a lot of games but as you are seeing it doesn't handle it very well.

A full 125FPS for all games? . You would need to look to a card like mine which is a 970 FTW from EVGA. The 480, which is the newest offering from AMD, will also keep that FPS goal(if you can find one).

I am wondering why 125FPS was chosen. Screen tearing can occur with such high FPS on a TV/monitor with a refresh rate of 60Hz. That would be a good FPS for a 120Hz monitor. Still a too low for a 144Hz monitor.

About the cheapest fix would be a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202151&cm_re=r9_380-_-14-202-151-_-Product That won't meet your goal but it will improve your PC's gaming ability substantially.

Adding the other RAM stick will help considerably. The RAM was running in single channel mode which = half speed.
