Alright, so I have a pretty solid PC if i should say so myself..

I have Asus Z170 gaming motherboard, ASUS STRIX ROG 1080 8GB, i5 7600k, 16GB 2700mhz RAM, 500GB samsung SSD and a 1000W powersupply. This is a pretty strong PC if I should say so myself, but I feel like its underperforming heavily as I have even lower FPS in all games than my mate with an average PC..

I am not a noob, I might have missed something, but I have also tried everything almost, I dont feel like I know WHY, the closest I have come to an answer is the OS is the main problem, seeing as im running windows 10...

Does anyone know why im rocking 200fps approx with drops down to 100 in games like csgo and only running around 60fps in wow on decent settings?

Any help is greatly accepted, but know, I am looking for an expert 😀

First thing you simply have to do is reinstall graphics drivers, here is a video tutorial if you need a walkthrough:

Next, tell your graphics card to run at full power:
To change this setting, with your mouse, right-click over the Windows desktop and select "NVIDIA Control Panel"
-> from the NVIDIA Control Panel, select the "Manage 3D settings" from the left column
-> click on the Power management mode drop down box and select "Prefer Maximum Performance"

You can also tell your cpu it is allowed to use full power by going into control panel under the Power Options and setting it to High performance.
*Both these tweaks are safe and are NOT overclocking*
Doing these three steps will boost your performance greatly, your computer will be running at it's full potential.

Hope this helps, good luck.
