Question Low FPS on 6800XT

Before I fried my computer my RX6800XT had the same problem as I had when I first installed it, which is that I would get around 50-60 fps on every setting at 1440p and FSR1/2 enabled in Warzone 2. Recently I have tested Warzone 2, BF1, and Furmark with the same preferences as before. I get <Mod Edit> fps and a rare increase in fps in each setting. I know my GPU performance and V-SYNC is turned off in the games and in Radeon settings. Please someone help me and not get this <Mod Edit> ignored.

I have a Ryzen 5 5600X and 16gb 266mhz ddr4. I have not enabled xmp and any other thing in the bios. The GPU was working before I fried my motherboard which is another issue, and when I use my RX570 4gb I get the expected fps from that system. My drivers are recent and I have tried using AMD Disc clean up utility and DDU.

Why don't you enable XMP and see how that goes? All benchmarks you find will be with optimized settings. No one will benchmark without XMP/DOCP enabled.

AMD Ryzen really likes it's ram fast.
I'll try it but I dont think it has to do anything other tham my gpu since I use a different gpu before and my computers runs smooth and expected.

2666mhz in a bit slow for that system, but shouldn't really hurt FPS that much, how do you have your ram configured on your motherboard? Is it 2x 8GB sticks? And are they installed in the right slots for Dual channel? Or are you running a single 16GB stick?
They are 2x8gb and they should be in the right channel

probably it should, just checked mine 6800 non xt and im getting better score at lower wattage

You know I just realized they are not the same kit and I'll try to change that and XMP to see if anything changes

For now, looks like the issue is solved. I reseated the GPU in another slot and it looks like my frames are coming back. I still have issues with Warzone and Fortnite but for three other games, I tested including 3dmark, looks like it runs just fine.
