Hello guys,

Recently I got an Alienware M18R1 laptop with following specs:
UserBenchmarks:
CPU: Intel Core i9-13900HX
GPU: Nvidia RTX 4080
SSD: NVMe PC801 SK hynix 1TB
RAM: HMCG78MEBSA095N 2x16GB

When I play Warzone I can't seem to get more than 60-70 FPS. I think the fault is with processor for some reason but I cant figure out what. I ran userbenchmark and I got following results: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/60967196
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Hey there,

UBM is showing you that your disk isn't being read correctly. This is why the test is a fail. What power plan are you running? Try High and see if it changes anything.

Use/run crytal disk mark, and run the simple read/write tests. Do they hit the rated speed then?

UBM is just about usable as a tool, but is not considered a way to measure PC performance in the real world.

It could be your CPU is throttling, which is not uncommon for strong gaming laptops. The cooling systems leave a lot to be desired.

What temps are the CPU and GPU getting during gaming?

I am already using High performance power plan.
I enabled overclocking of CPU in bios settings, temps are around 90C, but it says CPU utilization is never going past 50%.
I don't know if it is relevant, but I only have FPS problems with Warzone.
I played Battlefield 1 (whics is kinda old tbh), and Hogwarts Legacy all settings ultra, and I am getting 200+ FPS.
