Low FPS on mid range PC!

September last year I built this PC.

Specs:

Ryzen5 1400 @ 3.7Ghz
MSI GTX 1060 6gb
8gb DDR4 2400
500w PSU
1tb HDD
256gb SSD

After I first built this I was achieving the fps you should get on a beast like this. However recently my fps has been very low on all my games and I am clueless as to what is causing this to happen. The only upgrade I have made was to a Deep Cool Captain 240 EX water cooler.

Pubg average (very low): 64fps with medium stuttering
CSGO average (low): 76fps with minor stuttering

(All drivers should be up to date).

I am open to any, and all suggestions in order to fix this problem. Thanks!

If you changed cooler, check your temps. Maybe something went wrong and the CPU is getting to hot.

I did a benchmark using aida64 and it looked good at 54 Celsius under load but I'll check again just to make sure.

Edit: The cpu is running at good temps
