low fps on sapphire r9 270x dual-x oc

I started a game at 60-65 fps then later it drops to 10-20 fps how could it be? I'm playing prototype 2.

My system specs-Intel core i5-4440,MSI b85-g43 gaming,aerocool strike x 600w,Kingston 8gb DDR3 1600,wd blue 1tb,sapphire r9 270x dual-x,Windows 7 home premium 64bit

Temperature:48Celsius-61Celsius

update your bios as well as the drivers....see if that works.

also see how much processor and gpu usage are you having
