low fps on the last of us

so i bought this game after i heard it was cool, now i already knew this game runs on 30 fps, what i didn't know is all these fps dips where the game becomes unplayable sometimes, like when i faced my first bloater all this stuff he was throwing made the game like 20 fps which sucks alot, know i need to know if this is normal, was the game created with way too heavy graphics? i need to know if someone else is having the same issue and if there is a possible fix maybe, sorry for the long post, appreciate any help, almost forget i am using a slim ps3 500gb hdd

Your fps is normal, blame the consoles, they're both 5 years+ old.

thanks man. this video captured few laggy scenes and they were the exact same where i was lagging, so thanks for clearing for me that i don't have a damaged disk nor a console
