Hello, so i got low FPS on pretty much all of the games i play. Or rather i got 100-150, but thats what i had on my last computer aswell, and this one is a huge upgrade.

Is there any program to see if i got all drivers if that might be the case? Even tho i got the geforce app on my comp which checks for updates etc.

Got new monitor aswell, but thats probably not the problem, right?

Specs:
Amd Ryzen 7 1700x Eight-Core Processor, 3400 Mhz.
Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Dual OC
Samsung 960 EVO 250GB
WD Blue 1tb 7200rpm 64mb
Fractal Design Integra m 550W
Corsair 16GB(2x8GB) DDR4 3000Mhz CL15 VEngeance LPX
Gigabyte B350 GA-AB350 Gaming

and the monitor:
Acer 27" Predator XB271HUA G-sync

I play CSGO, LoL, h1z1, PUBG, OW, GTA.

And i cant get more than 150FPS on LoL, even lower at the rest. Pls help <3

I don't think that really answered the question, is it 1080p, 1440p or 4k? new one and old one

Any chance you could post your old PC config? Might help in determining what performance you should be seeing.

Also going from 1080p to 1440p is going to consume quite a bit of extra graphics power, so it might be normal for you to see those fps numbers, depending on what you were running before.

Yeah comparing 1080p fps on your old pc to 1440p on the new one is like comparing apples to light bulbs, double the pixels means there's a lot more for the gpu to handle. Now if you try 1080p at 59hz I'm willing to bet fps will increase a bunch

I don't even think my 290X could even think of 30 fps on 1440p or 4k lol so I wouldn't know.

I would try overclocking the card as far as you are comfortable with, while in 1440p of course. If you aren't comfortable doing that, then I really don't know what else to say as that's the only thing I can think of that would boost 1440p fps.

Never overclocked and im not really comfortable in doing so, right now atleast.

(Can it be that i got two monitors on? Cuz im using the old monitor as a side monitor, however i had 2 monitors on my old PC without a problem.)

That might be a possibility.
