Low FPS/Usage on GTX 750 ti

Hi guys. I purchased a GTX 750 ti 2GB and dont get as much power as expected. If it helps, here are my speck

AMD Athlon X4 860K Quad Core 3.7GHz
MSI AMD A88XM Gaming
8GB Ram DDR3

Also, no my card does not have a pin connector.

My fps in arma 3 on the lowest settings is around 20 fps and on GTA IV it's around 15. I have a Sentey ATX 600 Power Supply BXP600.

Antec VP-450 has been rated very good according to multiple hardware sites. Usually found for 35 not including shipping on newegg or amazon

In GTA, your CPU is holding you back. Intel is VERY heavily favored in GTA V.

Even with a VERY high end GPU, you will struggle with your CPU in GTA.

HOLY CRAP!

WHY DOES ROCKSTAR USE CONSOLE PORTING?!
We already know from GTA IV that it takes SLI 780 ti and a 5960X just to run max @ 4k with 45fps
Why can't they get better developers.

Actually, this is a MUCH better port than 95% of other ports. They did a solid job with this one for sure.

It was done by the same team that did the Max Payne 3 port.

I hope they release patches so it isn't so CPU oriented. That's ridiculous that a brand new (basically) CPU @ 4ghz can't even run the game.

It will be CPU heavy no matter what. It is an open world game with alot of stuff going on. Just like watchdogs.

It runs perfectly fine on Intel, just not AMD. Hell, even a 3 generation old 2500k runs the game great!

It is just single thread heavy.

Makes me want to go to i3. Far Cry 4 wants me to stay with 860k. Do you think that in the near future there will be a patch to alleviate some of the AMD user's woes?

I thought you had an E3-1231v3...That is what it says in your equipment section.

I doubt there would be a patch to change the fundamental way the game is coded. This will probably be like Skyrim where intel is just better no mater what.

Oh LOL nah that's my proposed build. I have a build log. I should probably get rid of that. That's unfortunate that they can't appeal to the very people that even let them develop the game for XBONE and PS4.

I would state the it is proposed and that you do not own it. It is a bit misleading right now.
