My components:

GPU: Rtx 3080 (Gigabyte Gaming OC)
CPU: I7-9700K
Motherboard: Asus Prime (Z390)
Powersupply: Gigabyte 60+ Gold 750w
AIO Cooler: Kraken NZXT M22
Case: NZXT H510
Ram: Ballistix 2X8GB (3200 DDR4)

Screen: VG27AQL1A 1440P 170HZ

I can't seem to get over 72 fps in Horizon Zero dawn. When i watch benchmarks, they get over 120fps with the same graphic card and cpu. I upgraded from a RTX 2080 Super to Rtx 3080 1 week ago. Help?

Idk problably a win 10 issue, good thing i still use win 7 for my pc, if i do upgrade to a 24 core dual socket e5 2678 v3 workstation, ill just use pop linux for gaimg because win 10 is god awful, lower stability, a mobile settings menu which is clunky and slow, forced updates, higher risk of viruses, making you do pointless things like having to "sign in" even though theres no password, very clunky and slow, heavy on telemetry and heavy on computer resources, and many MANY other things i absolutely despise about win 10, please for the love of god just switch to pop linux for gaming or just use win 7 because screw windows 10, it is an absolute abomnitation of a "desktop" operating system
