Hi, folks!Today someone came to my house to buy a vga of mine. I installed it and noticed that the games that I tried to run with my R9 290 were running with very low fps...I got scared and tried to reinstall its drivers and then it worked fine
After I sold the guy this R9 290, I installed my 2 R9 290x which I was previously using. I noticed that the games were running on low fps too. It looks like the same problem I got with the R9 290. I tried to reinstall it´s drivers but this time it doesn´t work as nicely as it used to work
I went to control pannel, uninstalled the drivers, restarted the PC on safe mode and using the display driver uninstaller I deleted all the remaining driver fragments. I restarted again, installed amd´s drivers, restarted and it still doesn´t work correctly

Is there a better way to reinstall drivers?
Thanks!

did you ever find the fix to this problem? I have the same issue and have yet to find a solution or a way to fix it myself! my 660's in sli got higher fps than these two cards are getting and according to 290x benchmarks online my crossfire setup is getting less fps than a 290x single card.

Nope, I watercooled the cards and all kinda of tricks and troubleshoots and fresh installs of different window versions. The only solution i found was to tell amd to suck it and buy a titan x and never look back! Im officially done with AMD every card I have bought from them either didnt work correctly or didnt perform as good as they portrayed it too! at 4k gaming I never got any good gameplay as for all the cards ever did was stutter and the frame rates would read in the 40's but it felt like I was truly getting about 10 fps. Bought one titan x and at 4k gaming I get over 100 fps with games maxed out and a slight overclock and have had zero issues ever with nvidia I just dont always agree with there prices but hey if there cards perform as promised and zero issues and run cool....mise well just pay the price because it sure as hell beats all the downtime troubleshooting, reformatting, turning this and that off and on and still no success!

sorry I wasnt much help! I did search for days on how to solve the issue but never did
