Low FPS With Gtx 1070 Gaming z

Hello everyone i have fps problem with my new MSI Nvidia gtx 1070 gaming z and i play minecraft, saints row, and stuff my minecraft has between 8-20 fps and it is really annoying when im making a video (modded with 140 mods) and saintsrow im playing at ultra and normally i need to get like minimum 60 fps not 20 :/ and even i try to overclock my graphic card my screen just turns black and i need to delete my gpu tweak to fix it (sometimes i have to restart several times)

it says my computer is windows 8 but it is not it is windows 10

my specs :

PSU : CX850M
GPU : MSI Nvidia GTX 1070 Gaming Z 8GB
CPU : Intel core i7 6700K 4.0 ghz (Overclocked 4.4) and liquid cooling
Ram : 16 gb 3000MHZ
Motherboard : MSI Z170A Gaming m3
Storage : 1 + 4 TB HDD

MSI Gaming App has a lot of issues and is known to freeze computer, high cpu usage...Use something else like afterburner to adjust clock speeds and nvidia visualizer to control leds.

okay so afterburner has a little problem because when i increase my boost my computer just froze and after i reset my computer it fixes i drop a little lower and it is the same resoult :/

Why do you wanna oc the gpu if the default clock can give you great fps.

because it is not gives me the great fps (even now im playing saints row 4 with lower setting and no change on the fps still 20)

Do you have nvidia drivers installed?

im updating the new drive as we speak and i will try it too

Without the drivers any gpu is a waste. So when you get a graphics card install drivers first.

it was the lastest version before this update and yet still bad i will write back after the update

are you monitoring cpu temps while you play?

also make and model of your power supply?

on saints row for example it will be hard for me but while i play minecraft , my temps 31C / 86F (all fans at maximum speed to cool things down

my power supply is CX850M

okay guys i figured it out on my youtube live session somebody mentioned extra power but i know it wasnt it so i just looked at my motherboard there is a SLOW_1 switch i just slide it to left and entered the game and tadaaa my minecraft is now 400+ fps my other games also ^_^ if you guys have Z170A Gaming m3 (or the other series has SLOW_1) just slide it to left to close it and it works like a charm ^_^ thank you guys for your support
