Low fps with high profile hardware

Hope everyone is good I have a wield problem I used to be able to play all my games at 60fps like evil within 1 and far cry 5 and other high profile games now in evil within I am getting 12 fps and in far cry 5 I am get 25 to 30 what is going on I use a driver update tool to download all my drivers could that be it's called driver booster it says I have the latest drivers for everything anywho hope someone can help me my specs are amd ryzen 7 1700x. Msi rx 580 8 GB Asus rog e something gaming motherboard and my psu is a 750 watts don't remember psu sorry built it a couple months ago my brother helped me built it I just game on it not really comp wavy so don't use tech terms lol anywho if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks

First thing, make sure your cpu cooler is seated correctly. It could be overheating causing stuttering. Overheating can also occur in the gpu so make sure to check that

I fixed it I did not know I had 2 different drivers installed cleaned it out and boom 60 fps thanks guys
