So basically while playing different games (mostly valorant) I get low fps, while both my gpu and cpu are utilized for around 30-40%. I have tried reinstalling the nvidia drivers and I have the performance mode selected both in windows and nvidia control panel.

Valorant is a CPU dependent game so your 2400Mhz RAM is a problem as Ryzen really depends on RAM speed to perform properly. With RAM running at 2133Mhz i had bad performance and fps drops with a Ryzen 7 3700X at almost every e-sport game. I would get 3600Mhz-3733Mhz RAM to get the maximum performance out of a 3rd gen Ryzen CPU. Also if your RAM is not running at dual channel and is a single...

What are you considering low fps? Are you comparing it to benchmark data? Your ram could be an issue, but it might not be the main issue if you truly have an issue with your system.

Please give examples of low fps in games.

By saying low fps I mean like 180-200 in action. I just thought that with 3070 the fps should be higher, because my friend with a 2070 gets like 600 fps, I don't know his full specs tho. Ty for your answer!

Compare your graphics settings and resolution with each other. You are probably running higher resolution and higher settings. If you want to play competitively you would normally lower graphics settings and resolution for higher fps.

Yes, my graphics settings are all at low and I even have 4:3 resolution in-game for more fps
