Low fps with my setup? ARGHHH!!!

My system specs are

GTX 570 with latest drivers
i5 2320 quad core 3.0
8gb ram
2 TB HDD
Wireless keyboard and mouse
40" HD TV hooked up using a HDMI cable


I've tried using higher and lower resolutions to help my poor fps but with no fix.

Yesterday i was playing far cry 3 multiplayer on the lowest settings and was getting 20-30 fps? -_-

Does anybody know why this is happening and what could i do to fix it?

Farcry is known for running like crap, but it shouldn't be that bad if you've got the newest drivers. Is FPS ok in other games?

I get bad FPS in arma 2, arma 2 operation arrowhead, Dayz, Arma 3 alpha.

I will download the BF3 update now and test that

Bf3 update is 6gb so i tried Formula 1 2012 ingame benchmark on ultra, i got 90 fps at 1280*768

Black ops 2 private match with 9 bots on ultra, 200+ fps on the same res.

but are these games even that high demanding?
