Low gaming fps

Specs:

Gpu: Refurbished GTX 960 ftw 4gb
cpu: AMD A8-7600
Ram: 8gb

I recently bought a refurbisjed gtx 960 becuase i was using on board graphics and getting horrible fps in games so i decided to get a decent card for gaming expecting it to severely improve the experience but i still am not getting very good fps.On Overwatch I am getting about 50fps on all low settings and on Rocket League I'm getting about 40 on high but i still think that i should be getting higher. Do you think it's because my card is refurbished or could my cpu be bottlenecking it?

Hi dude..

A properly working GTX 960 4GB should score more than 6500 in 3DMark Fire strike, see below..

What you can do is download the 3DMark Basic Free edition from here and run it on ur PC.. If you get a score of 6000+ then probably it is time you cleaned up ur OS..

Both overwatch an rocket league are heavily dependent on single thread speed,you can see that one thread has a much higher % usage that all the others.
I don't think you can overclock this CPU so only a faster cpu will give you more FPS.

I would suggest you to upgrade your CPU. Corei5 6th gen should be fine

You have an APU. So it is bottlenecking the performance. Get a better CPU or switch to Intel.

That A8 APU cannot feed fast enough the video data to the GPU.
