Low GPU benchmark score

Hello, I just ran a userbenchmark score and it tells me that my RTX 2070 performs way below expectations, what could be the reason for this and how could I fix it?

Most likely either driver related, heat related, or it's simply not clocked very high,

Use ddu to remove old GPU drivers (in safe mode)

Reinstall graphics driver

Use msi afterburner to check GPU speeds and temps during benchmark run

I don't know much about that benchmark- it doesn't seem to have many specifics. Is your system running games ok? I would run 3DMark to test the chops of the Graphics Card. You can easily compare the performance to similar systems that way.

Just used DDU to remove all old GPU drivers, but that didn't really do anything at all. I tested the temps and they seem to be fine, 70C with 59% fan speed in Shadow of the Tomb Raider at Ultra/1080p.

But I did a Fire Strike 1.1 test and the graphical score seems fine (I think? not quite sure tho)

Also could the i5 6600K be bottelnecking the RTX 2070? Wondering because I'm barely getting 70 % GPU usage in Fortnite on all epic settings.

Yep. Everything is working fine. With proper cooling and an adventurous spirit there is more theoretical performance to be realized. Here is a comparison setup to someone with your basic hardware that has overclocked the processor and card:
