Firstly, my system:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 stock
Mobo: MSI B450M Mortar
GPU: Zotac RTX 2060
RAM: Some unknown model, 1x8GB DDR4 2400MHz
So in a lot of games such as Fortnite, Battlefield V and GTA 5, my GPU doesn’t hit full GPU boost and almost never passes above 70% GPU usage. I have read that Ryzen really favours faster, dual channel memory and was just wondering if someone could confirm that the GPU usage issues are arising from this.
I have borrowed this RAM temporarily from a friend as I save up for better RAM. I just don’t want to upgrade RAM and still have these issues and would love to have some confirmation.
