[SOLVED] Low Gpu usage on minecraft with a 2080 low fps

i have a rtx 2080 and a i7 8700k with 16gb ddr4 ram and i cant run minecraft at 240+ fps and its sad. the gpu usage is literally like 8% please help

Why do you need more than 240 FPS? 244 hz is the highest monitors go, so 4 hz isn’t going to make a difference.

Minecraft is entirely dependent on the cpu. Oc your processor if you want more fps. A 9900k will bottlneck a 1060 in Minecraft

Still it is a weird issue though. On my MacBook Pro with integrated graphics I get around 400 (without shaders or anything).

thats the highest its adv is like 70

Uhh is your monitor plugged into your motherboard instead of your gpu? If so change it around

Or did you uncheck the GPU part of the test before it started

no its in the gpu lol
i checked ow and its fine i got 240 fps on that game itsd just this one
