Question Low GPU usage with 3070 ti in games

My CPU is a 3900x. When I stress test my rig with furmark my GPU usage goes up to 100% but in games my GPU usage is generally never maxed out. I have two sticks of ddr4 8gb ram running at 3200MHz and a 750w power supply. My motherboard is an Asrock a320. I'm getting around 100-140 fps in Bf1 1080p ultra and 100-200ish fps in League of Legends when benchmarks say I could be getting a lot more. My GPU usage is around 50-60% and 10% respectively. Is it a software or hardware related issue? The fps I'm getting is playable but not what I paid for.

Try to update your motherboard bios to the newest version. Also these motherboards are quite old and they doesn't have PCIe 4.0.

I'm getting low gpu usage and mediocre fps in every game I play. I'm supposed to be getting 180fps+ in 1080p ultra in bf1 eith max gpu usage but I'm getting 100-180. Whenever there's an intense scene my fps and gpu usage drops. I have an rtx 3070 ti and ryzen 9 3900x

Everything is working fine in user benchmark. My ram is 3200 and I'm using dual channel 8gb x 2

Is my new rtx 3070 ti getting bottlenecked by my r9 3900x? I'm not getting 100% usage in most games, only Assetto Corsa and benchmarks. In Bf1 I get around 40-70% usage with suboptimal fps(100-120 on 1080p in busy scenes).

Even when you buy the best components across the board you’re going to get some bottlenecking.

All looks ok

Next I would try completely removing the gpu driver using DDU sand then reinstalling the latest driver.
