Hy i have a half new computer and im running games on ultimate until there is a lot stuff on the screen like explosions. I have a picture when im playing diablo 3 with two wizard doing fireworks all over and my fps is low as the gpu usage. You can see all the detail on the picture. I often have fps drops and i dont know why i suspect that the cpu is too old but i dont have the money to buy a new mobo and cpu right now. Is there anybody who know a software fix or something?
Thanks

You have what is called a bottleneck. That happens when the CPU cannot keep up with the data rate from the GPU. It then has to work overtime to keep up with the rate. The socket 775 is super old, I found myself upgrading my ENTIRE PC when I found there were no high performance CPUs for that socket.

Yeah but its so strange it says the cpu usage is 43% and there is usualy no queue in it or just 1. And why people do overlclocking if oc doesnt speed the cpu up?

OC does actually sped it up. You just need an unlocked one.

I think that solved the problem, in the same way replacing my 120mm RAD with a 360mm RAD completely fixed my FX8350 heat issue, even if 360MM was a little much, as it cost me $320.
