My rig is as follows
i7 2600k
980ti
16 ddr3 ram
1080p tv
550 psu
My gpu usage has not been 99% to 100% like before. It was like this with my 1060 and now a 980ti..... Cpu usage is the same I guess. But why is my gpu running at 50% and giving my games 40fps when it should be running at full power and giving me full frames?
Knowing little about pcs.... I'm blaming the psu for not being able to put out enough juice. I've googled a ton and came up with nothing but setting priority to high on games I play, using afterburner to overclock my gpu, changing power settings, etc...
My old set up with the 1060 and 550 psu is plenty of power to run games.... what's the deal? I currently have the 980 in cuz my main rig is down.
