I've been having fps issues in DayZ standalone ever since i got it - i didn't think too much about it, i just thought my computer wasn't strong enough to run the game in its current state (Unoptimized). However, a few days ago i monitored my system while playing DayZ and the GPU load is 30-40% which is unarguably low considering i only get 20-40 fps. My GPU performs very well in other games (Csgo, Bf4, GTAV, Skyrim and more). This annoys me because the low framerates are quite unpleasant and now i know my GPU is not being fully used.
So my first thought would be CPU bottlenecking (CPU heavy game) but that doesnt seem to be the case, the cpu usage isn't high. I play on the lowest settings to get the most fps out of it, when i raised my settings to the highest possible the usage went up a little bit, but it was still low (50-60%) and my framerate was a mere 15.
So i would like to know if anyone has the same issue as me or has a suggestion for solving the problem. Thanks in advance!
