Question low microphone volume

hello all. i have a pc i built myself and i keep having problems with low microphone volume. I normally use a steelseries arctis pro with gamedac and the mic works fine. However i wanted to go wireless and have tried the arctis 7 astro a50 and corsair virtuoso. i have also attemped using a standalone mic with no avail. seems the only way i get decent mic volume is through the gamedac. any suggestions?

Hello

Did you try right clicking the sound icon on the task bar select open sound settings and than look for input adjust volume test mic see if that helps.

I did and it's turned all the way up

I found this YouTube link sound setting in the firmware. Does not mention mic but watch it maybe something you have not tried. I did a web search with this model and mic issues do not come up.
